2013 Female Player of the Year
The 2013 Female Player of the Year is Rebecca Brereton.
Rebecca "Junior" Brereton is a female dominant force. Sensational team player at all time and one seriously gifted athlete she has a great work ethic, fiercely athletic a definite step above the rest.
Disciplined and outstanding on both Offense and Defense. A respected leader on and off the field this year alone Junior has:
- Vice-captained the UWA A team in Perth Ultimate Leagues 46 and 47.
- Vice-captained the UWA A team to finish in second place at Phoenix Has Risen.
- Played with Kaos at Nationals in Bendigo.
- Competed with the Australian U23 Women's Team at the U23 World Championships in Toronto.
- Vice-captained UWA at the Australian University Games on the Gold Coast where UWA finished 4th.
- Was awarded Green and Gold selection at Uni Games.
- Demonstrates a positive and respectful attitude on the field and has a good knowledge of the rules.
- Competed at the Australian Mixed Ultimate Championships.
